Job Title: Inside Sales Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and website leads.
- Prepare and send customer quotes, proposals, and pricing information.
- Enter and maintain accurate customer, quote, and order data in ERP systems.
- Follow up with customers on open quotes, orders, and leads.
- Assist with order processing, including order entry, tracking, and coordination with operations.
- Maintain customer records, contact lists, and sales documentation.
- Schedule sales calls and meetings.
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, and logistics to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Handle basic customer service questions and route complex issues appropriately.
- Assist with sales reports, forecasting data, and activity tracking.
- Support sales campaigns, promotions, and account outreach efforts.
- Help identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through timely and professional communication.
- Requires some after-hours communication.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- EXCELLENT communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to provide quick response times.
- Ability to learn AES’ products, processes, logistics, and equipment.
Education/Experience requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
