We are seeking a Technical Lead to oversee the delivery of managed IT services, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and technology strategy for a local government client. This hands-on, technical role is responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing IT environments while delivering exceptional customer service and serving as a trusted technical advisor.

*Note, this position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

Lead the administration and support of Microsoft 365, Windows servers, networking, and endpoint infrastructure.
Oversee cybersecurity services including SIEM, EDR, MFA, endpoint protection, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery.
Manage hardware lifecycle, asset inventory, warranties, deployments, and refresh planning.
Provide technical leadership for Tier 1–3 Help Desk operations and complex client escalations.
Monitor system performance, network health, and security while ensuring service level objectives are met.
Support onboarding/offboarding, software licensing, vendor management, and technology reporting.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by developing technology roadmaps and leading IT projects.
Coordinate onsite support when required and mentor junior technical staff.

Qualifications

3–7 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure or Managed Services (MSP).
Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, and cybersecurity technologies.
Experience with firewalls, backups, disaster recovery, endpoint security, and cloud administration.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
Relevant Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or security certifications are a plus.

This is a hybrid position that requires regular travel to multiple local sites to provide onsite support as needed.

Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base compensation, employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
