Responsible for monitoring and controlling assigned poker tables to ensure the integrity of the game and a     pleasurable gaming experience. Â

Maintains constant awareness of activities of all games in assigned locations to observe and act appropriately in the event of any suspicious or irregular activity. Â
Controls and directs games in progress by monitoring and helping and dealer correction. Â
Maintains awareness of each game’s limits, guest activity, and dealer performance. Â
Assures Title 31 regulations are being adhered to and the proper paperwork is completed. Â
Interacts with all guests and team members as needed. Â
Assumes overall responsibility for assigned poker tables. Â
Oversees and ensures high standards of guest service on each game and works closely with the Casino Operation Managers, Casino Hosts, and other casino team members to identify player’s needs. Â
Assists in the hiring process by conducting interviews, training classes, and auditions. Â
Provides and monitors on-the-job training for Dealers to ensure staff receives adequate guidance, resources, and information. Â
Responsible for completing and issuing Poker Dealer evaluations. Â
Perform buy ins and fills for poker tables and guests as needed with available bank. Â
Performs other duties as assigned. Â

Responsibilities
Thorough knowledge of all poker games and operations. Â
Two years of experience as a poker dealer in a casino environment. Â
One year of supervisory experience in poker room operations. Â
Must be able to acquire a VA Lottery Gaming License.Â
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age. Â
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the hotel Â
Must be able to lift to 25 pounds Â
Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at the assigned desk area. Â
Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10-key adding machine, PCs, fax machine, and photocopier. Â
Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Â
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand basic English. Â
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Â
Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and     dust. Â

Wage - Hourly Range: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
*Hourly range based on experience, skill set and education.
