How you’ll contribute 

A Speech Pathologist who excels in this role:

  • Evaluates and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, supporting patient recovery and communication improvement.

  • Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.

  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.

  • Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.

  • Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.

  • Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.

What we’re looking for 

Applicants should have a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Additional requirements include:

  • Experience in acute or rehab setting, preferred.
  • Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
  • CPR certification.

Sovah Health Acute Rehab is a 10-bed, intensive rehabilitation unit with short length of stay and high functional outcomes. Looking to expand number of beds in the next year to better serve the community.

 

Hourly Rate: $60 per hour.
