Pay Rate: Between $17.5/hr to $22/hr
Shift: Flex hours

Birch Agency is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team
A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is responsible for supporting physicians and other healthcare professionals by performing clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient medical office operations and high-quality patient care. This position requires the Medical Assistant to work in two different locations in (Limerick, PA and Phoenixville, PA, 19460)
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration)
Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician
Perform EKGs and other diagnostic tests
Sterilize and prepare medical instruments
Remove sutures and change dressings
Schedule patient appointments
Verify insurance information and process referrals
Handle billing and coding tasks
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
Manage inventory of medical supplies

Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Certified Medical Assistant
Knowledge of medical terminology
