JOB SUMMARY:
This is a short-term position for a specific special event and period. Duties will include applying make-up and prosthetics to actors. Interested applicants must be creative, have a previous make-up experience and bring a portfolio of work for the interview.
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
- Reports directly to the Promotional Events and Entertainment Supervisor
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Apply and maintain all Special Effect Makeup including but no limited to, prosthetics, masks, airbrush and standard special effect makeup.
- Must be able to execute makeup looks in an efficient and timely manner.
- Must maintain the set Sanitation Guidelines provided by the State and Makeup Supervisor
- Will clean worn masks & prosthetics and put them in their proper place at the end of the night.
- Fix minor repairs on masks & prosthetics if needed.
- Spend time checking on makeup in Haunted Attractions and in the Themed Street Areas.
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods in varied weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
- Required to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be able to carry 5 to 10 pounds of weight.
- Exposure to smoke and lighting effect
- Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
- Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
- Must have a valid driver’s license
