Walk Around Ghoul - Starting at $15.50 per hour for 18+

JOB SUMMARY:

This is a short-term position for a specific special event and period.  Duties will include performing in haunted attractions or in haunted scare zones as a fictional, dark character startling and entertaining our park guests with great enthusiasm and animation.  Interested applicants must be able to carry and wear 5 to 20 pounds of costume weight, be able to work in crowds, heat, cold, tight and dark surroundings for 45-minute intervals. 

What will you be doing:

• Jump out at guests from the darkest corners and best hiding spots as they walk through our scare zones and haunted attractions
• Transform into a frightening creature with full makeovers and costumes
• Scare the public at special park functions
• Greet all victims in the scariest way possible
• Leave guests’ screams echoing through the crisp air
• Other job duties as assigned

 How you will do it:

• Always maintain screams and safety
• Keep escape routes (and work locations) clean
• Be able to work in an environment as fast-paced as our coasters
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to the Six Flags mantra
• Be playful and friendly with an outgoing personality
• Have a positive attitude to deliver the most terrifying experience possible
• Can’t be afraid of the dark

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

• Reports directly to the Promotional Events and Entertainment Supervisor  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods in varied weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
• Required to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, outdoors in various weather conditions
• Height and weight may be required for proper fit in specific costumes
• Must be able to work in dark or small places
• Exposure to smoke and lighting effect
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Must have a valid driver’s license
