Shift: 10:00 PM-6:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $20.17 an hour + $1.50 shift differential

Reporting to Production Supervisors, you will work on-site at one of Conagra Brands' largest manufacturing facilities in Darien, Wisconsin, supporting production operations and helping ensure product quality, packaging compliance, and adherence to safety and food handling standards. You will contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment through attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Develop a working knowledge of production schedules and follow schedule instructions.
  • Form and assemble cases to meet production requirements and specifications.
  • Monitor auto-filled bags or trays for required fill weight, back seal, end seal, label placement, date code, and label accuracy.
  • Report deviations from product requirements to operators or supervisors and ensure cases enter the case sealer correctly.
  • Visually inspect products and ingredients for blemishes, flaws, extraneous material, or discoloration.
  • Stop production and report serious deviations from requirements or equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards within the work area.
  • Assist operators with start-up, production, changeover, and shutdown activities.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include:
  • Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
  • Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
  • Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
