Job Summary

We are looking for an Experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our busy repair shop who can maintain, repair, and diagnose diesel-powered vehicles and machinery such as trucks, buses, construction equipment, and farm implements. The ideal candidate is mechanically proficient, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team to ensure vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

Diagnose engine and vehicle problems using computerized diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and traditional mechanical methods
Perform preventive maintenance, such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluid service, and routine inspections
Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
Conduct field visits for emergency or breakdown repairs
Create repair estimates and timelines
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with safety standards
Collaborate with other repair team members to coordinate work, share expertise, and meet service schedules
Keep accurate records of parts used, labor hours, and completed work

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 4 Years Diesel Mechanic Experience
Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and related systems
Proficiency with diagnostic and repair tools
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable environment
