Position Summary:
Â
In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day treasury operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and premium billing support functions for Old Republic Bitco. You’ll lead a team of six professionals who are responsible for cash management, payment processing, collections, and billing operations inclusive of customer servicing, while ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely financial transactions.

The Treasury Manager serves as Finance’s primary liaison for the ongoing Duck Creek Billing implementation, partnering with IT and various business teams, to support project activities while maintaining the existing premium billing system during the transition. This role emphasizes operational excellence, process improvement, and outstanding customer service across finance operations.

Primary Responsibilities:
Â
Treasury Operations
- Oversee daily cash management activities, including cash application and bank account administration.
- Manage daily banking transactions, including ACH payments, wire transfers, and check processing.
- Ensure timely completion of bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash balances and assist with short-term cash forecasting.
- Maintain banking relationships and resolve treasury-related issues.
Â
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Supervise the daily activities of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
- Ensure timely vendor payments and accurate processing of invoices.
- Oversee premium cash application and collections activities.
- Monitor aging reports and work with business partners to resolve outstanding items.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Â
Billing Systems
- Serve as Finance’s representative on the Duck Creek Billing implementation project.
- Coordinate Finance testing activities and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Work with IT and business partners to identify and resolve billing issues.
- Support conversion activities from the current billing platform to Duck Creek.
- Maintain and support the existing billing system throughout implementation.
- Assist with documenting new billing processes and procedures.
Â
Leadership
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of six employees.
- Assign and prioritize daily work to meet departmental deadlines.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching.
- Promote teamwork and excellent customer service within the department.
- Identify training and development opportunities for team members.
Â
Process Improvement
- Recommend improvements to treasury, billing, AP, and AR processes.
- Assist with automation and system enhancement initiatives.
- Develop operational reports and monitor department performance metrics.
- Participate in finance and cross-functional projects as assigned.
Â
Compliance & Controls
- Maintain appropriate internal controls over treasury and payment activities.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain department procedures and documentation.

Qualifications:
Â
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
Â
Experience
- 5+ years of accounting, treasury, or finance experience.
- Prior experience leading or supervising a team preferred.
- Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or cash management.
- Insurance industry experience is highly preferred
- Experience with financial or billing systems is preferred.

- Understanding of treasury and cash management processes.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
