At The Arc of the Quad Cities Area, we are seeking a 1st Shift, 8-10 hours per week individual to serve as our Vending Clerk. 

As a Vending Clerk, you play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within a dynamic team environment. You take pride in setting up and executing work tasks efficiently, all while maintaining the cleanliness and security of agency property. In this hands-on role, you'll operate machinery and equipment to handle materials seamlessly for production and delivery, adhering strictly to safety, quality, and production standards. Your commitment to punctuality is essential, as well as your ability to contribute ideas for job improvements and quality enhancements. You will also build professional relationships by interacting courteously with personnel at each work site, fostering positive connections that support operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
  2. Ability to look at the vending machine and determine what items need to be filled.

  3. Ability to properly put items into the machine in the correct location to a predetermined amount.

  4. Ability to identify and correct basic problems with vending machine functionality or the ability to communicate unresolved issues.

  5.  Ability to count dollar bills as well as change and complete deposit slips and banking deposits.

  6. Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team with vending and retail outlet staff.

  7.  Ability to secure and maintain reliable transportation.

  8. Documented proof of Intellectual and/or developmental disability.
