Title: Manufacturing Quality Manager

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM/Core Business Hours
Classification: Exempt
Travel: 0% – 10%Â

The Manufacturing Quality Manager leads Quality Control operations to ensure machines are built, inspected, and shipped to required standards while meeting delivery targets. They are accountable for product quality, parts inspection, compliance, inspection effectiveness, team leadership, training, performance management, and implementation of process improvements and corrective/preventive actions.

- Own product quality and shipment readiness
- Lead QC and assembly teams; set priorities and plan resources
- Manage inspection schedules by status, staffing, and priority
- Drive throughput by managing efficiency and inspection productivity
- Set clear expectations for quality, safety, productivity, and performance
- Coach standard work; give timely feedback and close execution gaps
- Develop training plans for inspectors to ensure consistent processes
- Lead CAPA and root-cause actions to prevent issue recurrence
- Partner cross-functionally to drive quality and process improvements
- Maintain procedures, QC equipment, and accurate records/timekeeping
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:Â
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 or more years of related experienceÂ
- Engineering background preferred, need proven analytical experience
- Prior experience leading production, assembly, or quality teamsÂ
- Project scheduling experienceÂ
- Strong communication and effective supervisory skillsÂ
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing situationsÂ
- Strong understanding measurement systems and international standards for machine tool inspection
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Work Environment:Â
Exposure to manufacturing/machining environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery. General office environment experienced at DMG MORI office.Â
Physical Demands:
Frequent: Standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements
Periodic: Operating power equipment, sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones.
Occasional: Lifting or moving up to 50lbs.Â
