The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the freshness and quality of our produce department while providing excellent customer service. This role is vital in maintaining the store's standards and enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities Assist customers with inquiries regarding produce items, providing knowledgeable recommendations and support. Ensure all produce is fresh, well-stocked, and visually appealing to customers. Perform inventory management tasks, including receiving shipments, checking for quality, and organizing stock on shelves. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to move products as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the produce department, adhering to health and safety standards.  Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Familiarity with inventory management practices is a plus. Ability to operate a pallet jack or forklift. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to assist our diverse customer base effectively. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are essential. Basic knowledge of retail math to assist with pricing and inventory tasks. Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods while performing duties.
