Front Desk Receptionist

Receptionist – Full-Time

The Rustic Paw – Dawson Springs, KY (owned by Pet Palace)

Do you love animals, enjoy helping people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? The Rustic Paw is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and energetic full-time Receptionist to join our team!

As the first face our clients see, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while helping our salon run smoothly every day.

Pay

$12.00–$14.00 per hour

Schedule

Tuesday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

One Saturday per month:

• 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM or
• 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Applicants must be available to work these scheduled days and shifts. No exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and check pets in and out
• Answer incoming phone calls
• Schedule grooming appointments
• Assist customers with questions and services
• Keep the lobby and reception area clean and organized
• Help maintain a clean salon throughout the day
• Work alongside groomers and other team members
• Handle pet-related cleaning, including urine, feces, vomit, and other animal messes
• Work around both dogs and cats daily
• Perform other duties as needed to help the team

This position is not allergy-friendly. We work with dogs, cats, pet hair, dander, animal saliva, urine, feces, and other bodily fluids every day. Applicants should be comfortable working in this environment.
