Overview

Responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance in the Melting and Casting departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, project work and installation of stationary and mobile equipment
• Welding and fabrication as needed
• Work with chemicals that require full face respirator or SCBA
• Maintain complete and accurate maintenance documentation
• Monitor and ensure safe work practices
• Cover maintenance vacations
• Perform all other tasks assigned by leadership

Qualifications

Required:

• Excellent safety record
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated and ability to work with others
• Previous industrial maintenance experience
• Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude
• Ability to pass FIT test for full face respirator and SCBA

Preferred:

• Welding and fabrication experience
• Electrical experience
• PLC knowledge
• Formal electrical or automation training
• Basic knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
