CNC MACHINIST ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

· Setting production machinery for acceptable production processes and obtaining run approval.

· Ability to edit and interpret G and M Code

· Ability to prove out programs and set ups

· Ability to run 5 axis CNC Mills

· Analyze machine, tool, and program issues and makes basic repairs, as well as handling minor routine maintenance.

· Perform repetitive and custom work utilizing fixtures, machine stops, indexing devices, to control critical tolerances and dimensions.

· Assure conformance to quality specifications using a variety of gages and indicators.

· Effectively communicate with personnel at all levels.

· Meet production quantity and quality standards.

· Ensure safety guards and personal protective equipment are in place at all times.

· Follow and enforce work Instructions, procedures, and company policies.

Requirements

 

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES: 

· Thorough knowledge of specific department equipment and their processes.

· Able to read, write, and comprehend written and oral instructions

· Able to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes to take appropriate action.

· Must meet DOD eligibility requirements

· Minimum 5+ years CNC Machining experience
