Benchmark Therapy and Rehab, a large therapy practice in Ohio is looking for a full time and consistent PRN COTA to join our practice.  


RESPONSIBILITIES: The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) shall be directly supervised by an OT and Therapy Coordinator. 


  • Responsibilities:
    - Assist Occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients in their home.
    - Implement treatment plans and interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
    - Help patients develop or regain daily living skills and functional abilities in their home setting.
    - Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
    - Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises
  • Note: License as an Occupational Therapy Assistant is required for this position.
  • Skills:
    - Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
    - Experience in home care setting is a plus
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients , their caregivers and healthcare team members
    - Ability to adapt to different patient needs and modify treatment plans accordingly based on their home environment.
    - Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during therapy sessions
