Logan Services is looking for an experienced Director of Plumbing Operations to lead our rapidly growing residential plumbing and sewer & drain division.

This is more than an operations management position. You’ll have the opportunity to build, lead, and scale a growing business.

You’ll oversee operations across multiple markets, lead and develop managers and field leaders, own the division's P&L, drive profitability and customer satisfaction, and build the systems and team needed to support continued growth.

The Big Task

As the Director of Plumbing Operations, you'll be responsible for the overall performance, growth, and strategic direction of Logan Services' residential plumbing and sewer & drain operations.

You'll lead across multiple markets and disciplines, balancing people, customers, operations, and financial performance to create a high-performing and scalable business.

What You'll Lead

Operations & Field Leadership

• Lead residential plumbing service, installation, water heater, water quality, and sewer & drain operations.
• Oversee field operations, workforce planning, scheduling, and operational efficiency across multiple markets.
• Develop scalable processes and systems that support continued growth.
• Establish clear expectations and accountability throughout the organization.
• Identify operational challenges and develop solutions that improve efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure teams have the tools, resources, and support needed to perform at a high level.

Financial & P&L Performance

• Own full P&L responsibility for the Plumbing Division.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, labor efficiency, and gross margin performance.
• Develop and implement pricing and operational strategies that improve financial results.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators.
• Analyze business performance and quickly turn data into action.
• Develop and execute plans to achieve financial and operational goals.

Leadership & Team Development

• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing employees.
• Build leadership succession plans and career development pathways.
• Establish a culture of accountability, ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Coach leaders to effectively manage performance and develop their teams.
• Identify future leaders and create opportunities for them to grow.
• Partner with HR and Learning & Development to strengthen leadership and workforce development.

Customer Experience

• Ensure customers receive an exceptional experience from the initial contact through job completion.
• Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and online reputation.
• Reduce callbacks and improve quality of workmanship.
• Partner with customer service, sales, and operations teams to create a consistent customer experience.
• Use customer feedback and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Strategic Growth

• Develop and execute one-year and three-year strategic growth plans for the Plumbing Division.
• Identify opportunities to expand market share across existing and new service areas.
• Partner with executive leadership on business planning and long-term strategy.
• Evaluate new technologies, services, processes, and business opportunities.
• Build the infrastructure and leadership team necessary to support rapid growth.
• Help position Logan Services as a leading residential plumbing and sewer & drain provider in our markets.

Training & Workforce Development

• Support apprenticeship and technical training programs.
• Partner with Recruiting and Learning & Development to build a strong talent pipeline.
• Create development opportunities that help technicians progress into leadership roles.
• Ensure field teams receive the technical, operational, and leadership training they need to succeed.
• Build a culture where employees understand how they can grow their careers within the organization.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a builder and leader—someone who understands that strong operations start with strong people.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in residential plumbing operations.
• Proven experience leading plumbing managers, supervisors, and field service teams.
• Experience managing a multi-million-dollar operation with full P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated success growing revenue while improving profitability and operational performance.
• Strong experience recruiting, coaching, developing, and retaining leaders.
• Proven ability to build accountability and high-performing teams.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and act on financial and operational data.
• Excellent communication, strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance long-term strategy with day-to-day operational execution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-location residential plumbing operations leadership experience.
• Residential home services industry experience.
• Sewer & drain operations experience.
• ServiceTitan experience.
• Experience developing apprenticeship or technical training programs.
• Experience leading rapid organizational growth and operational scaling.
• Experience working in a multi-trade environment such as HVAC and plumbing.
