Electrician

NIKA is hiring for an Electrician to support the Base Operations (BOS) Contract at Wright – Patterson AFB, Ohio.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installs, repairs or replaces, modifies, maintains, and tests new and existing electrical circuits, systems, fixtures,
  panels, switches, breakers, and controls
• Installs, repairs or replaces, modifies, maintains, and tests new and existing electrical systems covered under this contract or electrical systems serving other systems covered under contract.
• Uses and maintains various types of hand and/or power tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, soldering irons, cable pullers, hydraulic benders, and pipe threading machines, etc.
• Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years at journeyman level/or equal license, with commercial / industrial experience is required.
• Shall possess documentation of the successful completion of a registered apprenticeship program for electricians.
• Must demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities gained through formal training and/or experience to perform the duties described above.
• Must be US Citizen
