Overview

Mural Group is partnering with a wire manufacturer and looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume manufacturing operation. This is a night shift role in a fast-paced environment where uptime is critical. The ideal candidate is strong electrically, capable of troubleshooting down to the PLC level, and comfortable handling both reactive and preventive maintenance.

Hire type: Full-Time

Shift: 3rd shift

Pay Range: $36 - $38 /hr

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems on production equipment

  • Troubleshoot control systems and PLC-driven machinery(no programming required)

  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability

  • Support repairs on motors, drives, sensors, and related components

  • Fabricate or modify parts using shop equipment as needed

  • Document work performed and communicate issues across shifts

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills(required)

  • Working knowledge of PLCs (no programming access), motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings

  • Mechanically capable (bearings, alignment, general repairs)

  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

  • Comfortable working independently on night shift

Additional Details

  • Forklift experience preferred

  • Basic computer skills required for documentation and tracking

  • Strong problem-solving mindset — able to diagnose issues, not just replace parts
