What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform a variety of building, facility, and property maintenance tasks to ensure our locations remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform routine, preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on buildings and grounds.
- Complete repairs involving plumbing, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and identify practical repair solutions.
- Maintain exterior areas, including basic landscaping and lawn care.
- Conduct facility inspections and proactively identify maintenance needs.
- Obtain bids and assist with coordinating outside vendors and contractors for larger projects.
- Ensure repairs and maintenance work are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with organizational standards.
- Travel between multiple VOAOHIN locations as needed to support maintenance operations.

What We're Looking For
We are seeking candidates with experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, property maintenance, skilled trades, construction, repair work, or related fields.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of maintenance, facilities, construction, property maintenance, or skilled trade experience.
- Valid driver's license (required for this position).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
