Occupational Therapist (Acute Care)

  • Full-Time: 40 hours per week | some Weekend days required

Miami Valley Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive evaluations and therapeutic interventions to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, depending on the assigned service area.

We are the region’s most experienced Level I Trauma Center, providing the highest level of care for the most critically injured patients. We have earned accreditation as a Comprehensive Stroke Center for our specialized care of complex strokes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver effective therapeutic interventions to support patients in achieving their functional goals.
  • Maintain productivity standards and ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Uphold a "Patient First" approach in all interactions and adhere to Miami Valley Hospital’s high customer service standards.

As part of a collaborative healthcare environment, you will be a key member of both disciplinary and interdisciplinary teams, contributing to the success of the department by assisting colleagues and supporting team initiatives.



Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Licensure: Must possess a valid license to practice Occupational Therapy issued by the State of Ohio.

Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 30 days of hire
