Are you a licensed Journeyman Plumber who enjoys leading crews while staying hands-on in the field? Do you take pride in delivering high-quality commercial and industrial plumbing installations from underground utilities to finished fixture installation? If so, we'd like to talk with you. We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter / Plumbing Foreman to lead field crews on commercial and industrial construction projects. This is a working foreman role responsible for supervising daily job site operations while actively participating in the installation of plumbing and piping systems. You'll lead by example, mentor Apprentices, coordinate with project teams, and ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. If you're a detail-oriented leader who enjoys solving problems, developing people, and building projects the right way the first time, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing mechanical contractor. What You'll Do Lead and supervise Journeymen and Apprentices on commercial and industrial plumbing projects. Perform and oversee above-ground and underground plumbing and piping installations, including domestic water, sanitary, storm, process piping, and specialty systems. Install and oversee the installation of finished plumbing fixtures, trim-out, equipment connections, and final system startup. Interpret blueprints, specifications, isometric drawings, and shop drawings to ensure accurate installation. Plan daily work activities, assign manpower, and establish project priorities. Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other trades to maintain project schedules. Order materials, manage inventory, and ensure crews have the tools and equipment needed to stay productive. Conduct quality inspections to ensure all work meets company standards and applicable plumbing codes. Mentor and develop Apprentices while fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment. Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety standards to ensure every employee goes home safely. Complete daily reports, documentation, and job progress updates. Identify and resolve field issues before they impact project timelines or quality. What We're Looking For Current Journeyman Plumbing License (required) 7+ years of commercial and/or industrial plumbing experience Proven experience leading field crews on commercial or industrial construction projects. Extensive experience with: Above-ground plumbing installations Underground plumbing systems Commercial piping systems Equipment hookups Finished fixture installation and trim-out Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, piping materials, installation methods, and applicable building codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings. Working knowledge of welding and pipefitting practices is preferred. Rigging experience required. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Comfortable working in the field and leading crews by example—not from behind a desk. Valid U.S. driver's license. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required. High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of a state-approved apprenticeship program preferred.
