Pay Rate: $165.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Assignment Type: Full-Time Contract
Duration: Base year with possible 1-year option extension
Period of Performance: August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027, with possible option year
Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Primary Care Physician to provide primary care services at the Dayton VA Medical Center PACT Clinics. This position supports the Dayton VA’s Primary Care Services department as the facility prepares for implementation of the Electronic Health Record Modernization system.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Board Certified or Board Eligible primary care services at Dayton VAMC PACT Clinics.
• Manage an assigned patient panel.
• See approximately 9 patients per day, with a maximum of 12 patients per day.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat primary care patients.

Required Qualifications

• Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in one of the following:
  • Internal Medicine through ABIM
  • Family Practice through ABFM
• Minimum of 3 years of full-time comprehensive primary care experience.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
