Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate Headquarters - DAYTON, OH 45402POSITION SUMMARY: Under minimal direction and supervision, position performs confidential administrative support functions for the President and the sales team of Vector Equipment Finance. Incumbent provides assistance and support requiring the exercise and application of judgment, confidentiality, decision-making, knowledge and experience. Job functions include quality customer service to all distributors/customers and strong team support. Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 per year ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Where needed, complete application process and submitting completed financial package to proper funding sources as directed by Vector EF Sales. Enter prospect and/or application into the VEF computer database system. Proofs all data entry ensuring numerical entry and formulas are correct. Upon credit approval, confirm finance structure with VEF sales rep, gather exact equipment description and price from equipment dealer, issue a commitment letter to customer where appropriate, and submit document request to approved funding source. Work with VEF customers to complete all documentation and have it returned to VEF or the proper funding source, tracking and managing pertinent dates such as approval expiration dates, rate lock dates, machine delivery dates, and machine tool builder payment due dates. Issue and gather all necessary invoices, UCC, insurance, and other lease documentation required to be paid on each transaction. Complete customer and contract data entry into VEF database system once a contract is funded by the VEF funding source. Organize and file all written documentation in VEF electronic filing system. Send necessary customer correspondence once each transaction is complete. Continuously reviews current processes and procedures that make it easy for external/internal customers to do business with dept, division, and company. Ensures processes and procedures allow efficiency in work performed. Performs word processing emphasizing quality and accuracy. Proofs all documents and corrects grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors. Performs Excel spreadsheet development, maintenance/data entry and tracking emphasizing quality and accuracy. Based on business need, assist, support and/or perform other job functions within department or other work areas within scope and ability. QualificationsEssential Qualifications: High School graduate with formal coursework in Business Administration Strong initiative and self-starter. Demonstrated teamwork. Demonstrated experience in a customer service position utilizing interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Demonstrated spreadsheet skills in development of spreadsheets and data entry. Keyboard entry skills in word processing and software for Flow Charting and Presentations. Strong planning and organizational skills with experience in using judgment and decision-making. Working Conditions: Administrative work environment. Peak work periods related to meeting customer quote/financial deadlines, job packet deadlines and ensuring customer satisfaction with all internal and external customers. Occasionally travel by car or plane.
