We’ll be happy to tell you more during the interview process!   We are hiring for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team on a full-time, direct basis at our office in Dayton, OH. This person will play a critical role in our accounting operations by overseeing treasury, banking and bank reconciliations, US month-end close, taxes, audits, and supporting regional subsidiaries. Specific duties include journal entries, tax & audit management, financial reporting, revenue recognition, and intercompany accounting.   Primary Responsibilities: Treasury, banking and bank reconciliations Assist with matters of Corporate Finance; this may involve communicating with Federal, State and Local tax authorities as well as Auditors to resolve tax notices, compliance, 1099, sales tax, and technical accounting matters. Own month-end close processes: performing monthly account reconciliations & variance analysis, resolving discrepancies, analyzing & recording accruals, financial statement analysis, etc. Manage external audits. Support and oversee global regions month end close and reconciliations. Contribute to financial reporting and financial analysis on a monthly & quarterly basis. Oversee Accounts Payable [A/P], Accounts Receivables [A/R], and Revenue Recognition functions. Assist with operational / database support for the order & invoicing processes as well as data management for our solutions (which include services, software, and SKUs & parts for our hardware offerings). 5 direct reports Other duties may be assigned, as assigned. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. CPA designation is a plus but not required. Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience. Proven understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience with intercompany reconciliations and Revenue Recognition in accordance with ASC606. Experience working with audit preparations; experience working with auditors as well as tax authorities to resolve issues is a plus. Experience with month-end close processes, monthly account reconciliations, as well as financial statement analysis. Experience with operations, data management, as well as AR/AP. Experience working with Oracle NetSuite ERP software is strongly preferred. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially with MS-Excel. Ability and willingness to quickly learn new content areas and skills.
