As a Senior Technical Program Manager with MTSI you will support the Advanced Technology Division (ATD) of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). This position requires active collaboration across multiple organizations and lines of effort. The ATD develops a technology agnostic portfolio driven by pressing DAF demand signals, requiring rapid ideation, planning, and execution across several functional areas. This position will be located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. This position is for 100% in-person attendance at Wright-Patterson AFB.
Responsibilities
Duties to be independently executed include but are not limited to:
路聽Use experience, technical education, resources, and creativity to support the creation of multiple technical concept development and associated programmatic plans across a broad spectrum of technologies for military applications within the Advanced Technology Development (ATD) Division.聽
路聽Assist Portfolio Leads in assessment and maturation of future force concepts based on USAF and USSF requirements, MAJCOM, and other stakeholder inputs.
路聽Assists in identification of major trends impacting the USAF and USSF S&T program by analyzing long-term warfighter needs, DoD sponsored studies, wargame results, HHQ guidance, think tank publications, and TD strategic planning activities.聽
路聽Assists in generation of communication products regarding AFRL strategy/transformational products and policies with AFRL Technical Directorates, SAF/HAF, DDR&E, other service labs, and industry.聽
路聽Apply integration, communication, coordination, organizational and planning expertise to technical research and development activities across a broad spectrum of functional disciplines in order to assist with the implementation of program direction.
路聽Establish trusted and influential relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
路聽Assist in communicating and briefing status of assigned efforts to internal and external stakeholders.
路聽Work both individually and with a broader team.
路聽Support the development and communication of roadmaps for programs and associated technologies and product lines.
路聽Assist in the development of pre- and post-award documentation, where applicable.
路聽Assist in milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparations, staff coordination, and decision documentation preparation.
路聽Assist in accessing databases and performing analyses.
路聽Assist in the creation and approval of acquisition strategies, program planning and creation, early capability development strategies and project planning, and the transition of program execution to the appropriate Program Executive Officer.
路聽Assist in the interpretation and development of systems engineering artifacts (both document based and model based): requirements/capabilities, behaviors, architecture, verification and validation methodologies
路聽Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
路聽聽Minimum 10 years of experience in a DoD program, project management, or systems engineering position with cost, schedule, and performance responsibilities.
路聽Experience working on classified programs.
路聽Must be located within commuting distance of Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio to support in person attendance needs.
路聽Must be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, can accomplish high-level tasks independently, and works well with other team members and customers.
路聽Must have a high level of motivation, be adept at exploring and learning about new technologies, and have a demonstrated record of successfully taking ownership and responsibility for projects.
路聽Must have a demonstrated ability to communicate and coordinate with both internal and external organizations to accomplish common goals.
路聽Must have the ability to multi-task, respond to quick turn-around requests, and produce quality products with minimal oversight.
路聽Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education Requirements
路聽Master鈥檚 degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant discipline.

Desired Skills and Experience
路聽聽15+ years of PM or Engineering and relevant technical experience.
路聽聽Knowledge of the Air Force Research Laboratory鈥檚 framework, directives, and policies.
路聽聽Experience working on-site in a client government environment
路聽聽Experience in systems engineering to include mission engineering and model-based systems engineering
Clearance Requirements
路聽Must possess a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI and SAR eligibility
路聽U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
