Shifts are Monday-Friday, 10:00pm - 6:30am
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Provides supplies and sterilized equipment for the Central Supply and Processing operations. Ensures all equipment is washed, inspected, wrapped , sterilized, and stored properly in an efficient and timely manner. Â Support Manufacturing teams via the movement of donor and all necessary items into the core and cleanroom environments.Â

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Central Supply Technician I
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, training and policies.
- Comply with standard work practices throughout all Central Supply operations.
- Complete assigned tasks in their assigned area in a timely manner.
- Attains daily processing goals relating to productivity and quality.
- Obtain all needed supplies and equipment for processing/packaging session in the assigned area.
- Assists in room opening and support Manufacturing.
- Actively participates with the opening and set-up of the cleaning rooms according to established SOP.
- Act in a support role for the technicians by circulating in the core area
- Assists in orientation and training of new employees as assigned.
- Act as a transcriber for teams as necessary.
- Actively participate in the movement of donor tissue for processing.
- Supports storeroom material flow and required kit building.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Â
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Technician I
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Â
WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Work within a team setting.
- Receive and follow directions.
- Report numbers accurately and monitor error control.
- Receive and adapt to feedback.
- Report numbers accurately and monitor error control.
- Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Requires heavy lifting, continuous levels of standing and is physically demanding.
- Requires good eye-hand coordination skills.Â
- Some areas of Manufacturing may require the ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields.Â
Â
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a sterile central supply and delivery environment, tissue bank, or manufacturing environment.
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). Â
- Associates degree in related field.
- Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) or one year of previous tissue bank experience.Â
- Knowledge of processing anatomy and sterile techniques is preferred.Â
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. Â
