Position: Technician
Department: Building Maintenance Shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
Status: Full-time / Evening / 80 hours per pay
Facility: Miami Valley North

A General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of repair and preventative maintenance tasks in multiple trade areas including plumbing, basic electricity, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and basic mechanical repair. Customer Service/Breakdown/Setup of facility meeting rooms; Grounds repair and upkeep is also an expectation.

Knowledge/Skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- Â Ability to use hand tools, power tools and other specialized instrumentsÂ
- Â Ability to read and interpret instructions, plans, directions, drawings, basic line drawings, simple schematics, work orders, purchase requisitions, and MSDSs.Â
- Â Must be able to work independently or as part of a team, be friendly and courteous to patients, visitors, and staff, be neat in appearance and demonstrate good personal hygiene.
- Good organizational and problem solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks are essential to job performance
