AAA is seeking a full-time Travel Agent who can bring expertise, insight, and enthusiasm to every interaction. Experience is essential. Candidates should have a strong background in sales and a commitment to meeting goals, personal travel experiences to inspire clients, and preferably certification from an accredited travel school. Responsibilities include selling international and domestic travel packages (cruises, land packages, air travel, car rentals, hotel accommodations), educating clients on travel products and services, meeting or exceeding sales goals, cross-selling related products such as the AAA Travel Advantage Visa Credit Card, preparing and processing travel documents and invoices, and complying with Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC) regulations and AAA Club Alliance policies. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (accredited travel school graduate preferred), minimum 2 years travel sales experience, excellent communication and customer service skills, proficient computer skills, knowledge of geography and current world events, and satisfactory background screening. The position offers no work on Sundays, convenient store hours Monday to Saturday, paid holidays, paid time off including volunteer time, competitive hourly compensation ($16.09 to $20.56), monthly incentives, AAA Premier Membership benefits, medical/dental/vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(K) plan with company match.
