The position of Material Handler First Shift will facilitate material moves, and transactions for the Dayton facility.  This will include moving materials within the racks, hand pick, and market locations, within departments and throughout the plant, loading and unloading trucks, and additional material related tasks assigned by supervisor.

 

Essential qualifications for this position include:

 

  • Sit down Fork Truck certified within 30 days of taking position.  Expectations may include but not limited to: moving material within departments, moving material to and from departments, loading and unloading trucks, trash and cardboard collection, and other job duties that include use of a fork truck.
  • Ability to pull material from various rack and hand pick locations and move to departments.
  • Ability to move materials throughout the plant.
  • Have a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to do basic transactions for material within Syteline and on RF barcode guns.
  • Must understand or be willing to learn the flow of material physically and within Syteline to assist in researching inventory discrepancies.

 

General Qualifications:

 

  • Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs., bend, reach and pull as necessary.
