DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:Â Â
-Supports the directives provided by Dietary Leadership, often when Managers or Supervisors are not scheduled or present.Â
-Performs quality inspections and corrects any deficiencies identified immediately. Reports trends in quality concerns to Dietary Leadership.Â
-Reports deficiencies in departmental behavior and performance requirements to initiate a corrective action counseling if necessary.Â
-Performs other related duties as assigned by a Dietary Supervisor or Manager.Â
-Maintains timely communication with Dietary Leadership about shift concerns.Â
-Helps to promote a positive work environment by encouraging teamwork.Â

 Host/Hostess:Â
                 -Leads to check that all condiment trays are filled, menus and stock carts are filled and delivered toÂ
                  the floor by its host/hostess. Along with making sure all extra host/hostess duties are completed.Â
                  -Deliver late meal trays, if neededÂ
                  -Assist other team members (hostess) with job duties, once you have completed your floors tasksÂ
                  -Check/monitor other host/hostess floors and report back to the supervisor on duty with any findingsÂ
                         -Check soiled rooms, patient rooms for soiled trays, etc.Â
                  -Assist with training of a new host/hostess. Â
                          -Must fill out, sign and turn in training logs for all newly trained host/hostess.Â
                  -Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs.Â
                          -Work schedule may include evening shifts as needed, (11am-7pm shift).Â
                  -Complete 25 patient surveys each weekÂ
                  -Assist supervisors with finding coverage for call outs.Â
                  -Ensure that all host/hostess have completed their extra duties each day.Â
                     -Along with any additional duties given to you by your supervisor based on departmental Â
                   demand.Â
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Â Â
Walking and standing for long periods of time resulting in moderate fatigue. Frequent Lifting, pushing, or pulling of 25 to 50 pounds.  Â

WORKING CONDITIONS:Â Â Â
Patient tray line and dish machine room are frequently hot environments.Â
