The role you’ll contribute:

Develops standards for clinical nutrition and monitors clinical dietetic performance. Provides nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy that can be integrated with patients’ medical programs. Ensures patient satisfaction, quality care and compliance with regulatory agencies by working closely with the interdisciplinary health care teams.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
·      Completes nutrition-focused physical assessments, takes measurements, reviews medical records, collects data via interviews, and evaluates anthropometric status.
·      Offers nutrition interventions, orders, education, counseling, and referrals to other services. May place feeding tubes or perform indirect calorimetry studies.
·      Provides counseling and education using evidence-based techniques that reflect appropriate health literacy and cultural sensitivity to patients with disease processes requiring nutritional management.
·      Monitors and evaluates nutrition care plans to reach nutrition goals and promote optimal outcomes.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
**Candidates can be hired into various RD levels based upon years of experience/additional certifications. Rates may vary due to level
- Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Florida Registered Dietitian license
- Active Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Preferred qualifications:Â
