PRC Alliance Pain Relief Centers is a family of pain management specialists who are committed to relieving pain through exceptional and compassionate care. Our mission is to relieve patients of pain and provide outstanding medical care and comfort through a conservative yet comprehensive approach to pain management. We serve our patients at eight locations northeast of Orlando (Palm Coast, Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach, DeLand, Orange City, and Lake Mary).


We are currently hiring a Scheduling Coordinator  to work in our New Patient Department in Daytona Beach, welcoming new patients and assisting referring doctor’s offices when they call to schedule with us.


Scheduling Coordinator Responsibilities:


· Answers calls professionally and courteously, greeting all callers while ensuring excellence in customer service and patient access. 

· Ensures the cultivation of a patient-centered healthcare environment where all patients feel welcomed and valued. 

· Collects and verifies patient information thoroughly and accurately, including demographics, insurance information, referral details, and other required registration data. 

· Schedules patients appropriately based on insurance requirements, provider availability, location preferences, referral requirements, and patient needs. 

· Ensures all required documentation is received prior to scheduling or appointment confirmation, including referrals, authorizations, medical records, and completed patient forms when applicable. 

· Communicates effectively with clinic staff, providers, and other departments to facilitate a seamless patient scheduling and onboarding process. 

· Ensures new patients are scheduled with one of the physicians in our practice within seven (7) business days whenever possible. 

· Coordinates with clinics to resolve scheduling issues, obtain missing information, and ensure patients are scheduled correctly and efficiently. 

· Advises new patients of appointment details, required forms, insurance requirements, and any additional items needed to establish care. 

· Maintains a strong focus on increasing new patient volume by maximizing scheduling opportunities, minimizing delays, and providing exceptional service throughout the patient intake process. 

· Is a skilled communicator, kind, detail-oriented, and conscientious. 

· Is familiar with the mission, vision, and values of the practice and expresses a genuine enthusiasm for its success. 

· Performs other duties as assigned or required.


Requirements

  

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum1-2 years’ experience in a medical office preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; and the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Experience working with a clinical information system, or electronic health record preferred.
  • Must have the ability to work in an independent and self-directed manner and assume individual initiative
  • Must be willing and have the ability to accept supervision and to follow directions.
  • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion and tact. Must have a general knowledge of and the ability to maintain HIPAA privacy requirements.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
