Description

Easterseals Florida is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Pediatric Outpatient Therapy team. In this role, you will evaluate, treat, and support children with communication, feeding, and developmental needs while working alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to empowering families and improving outcomes.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for pediatric clients
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, billing, and treatment plans using EMR systems
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
  • Establish goals and measure progress according to the client’s Plan of Care
  • Manage assigned caseload efficiently and supervise SLPA(s)
  • Coordinate care with school staff, early intervention programs, case managers, parents/guardians, and clinical directors
  • Provide education and support to clients and families to promote carryover and success at home

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Florida licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Medicaid and National Provider Number (NPI) preferred
  • Previous pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and EMR systems
  • Flexibility, strong organizational skills, and commitment to professional growth
  • Demonstrates integrity, tact, and sound judgment
  • Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required, for program-related needs (minimum age of 21 and good driving history)
