At Allied Veterinary Specialists (AVS), exceptional patient care starts with an exceptional team. As our Emergency & Specialty services continue to grow throughout Central and Northeast Florida, we’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our South Daytona team.
This is more than a front-desk position. You’ll be a vital part of the patient experience—supporting pet owners during stressful moments, coordinating with our medical teams, and helping keep a fast-paced specialty hospital running smoothly.
✨ What You’ll Do
As a CSR, you’ll help create a welcoming, organized, and compassionate experience from the moment a client contacts our hospital.
You will:
- Greet clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and empathy
- Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system
- Schedule consultations, diagnostics, procedures, and follow-up appointments
- Efficiently check patients in and out
- Review estimates, invoices, payment options, and financial information with clients
- Process payments accurately
- Assist with emergency arrivals and urgent client needs
- Maintain accurate client and medical records
- Communicate closely with doctors, technicians, and referring veterinary hospitals
- Help keep communication flowing in a busy Emergency & Specialty environment
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-focused culture
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who can balance compassion with efficiency and remain calm when things get busy.
Required
- 3+ years of Veterinary Client Service Representative experience
- Previous experience working in a veterinary hospital
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Confidence handling difficult or emotional conversations
- Ability to stay calm and professional during emergency situations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
Big Plus If You Have
- Emergency and/or Specialty Veterinary experience
- Experience managing high call volumes
- Experience in a fast-paced reception environment
- Working knowledge of ezyVet and/or VetRadar
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and specialty services
