Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented person to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will assist with post-production cleanup. Your work helps drive efficiency by ensuring printing press supplies are sanitized, restocked, and prepped for changeovers.  If you thrive in a hands-on, physically active manufacturing environment and take pride in precision, safety, and operational excellence, we want to hear from you.

This is a 1st shift position.

Core Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize press components, ink fountains, plate cylinders, pails, lids, and tools
• Rebuild and inspect doctor blade assemblies to ensure optimal print quality and prevent machine wear
• Maintain and organize changeover supply carts to keep the press floor running efficiently
• Operate and maintain industrial cleanup washer and specialized sanitation equipment
• Oversee hazardous waste management by regularly monitoring storage containers and adhering to environmental compliance standards
• Support environmental health and safety (EHS) by treating wastewater, disposing of sludge bricks, and performing periodic floor pit cleanouts
• Perform general pressroom support duties as assigned to maintain a safe, clean workplace.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Understanding of standard industrial cleaning, sanitation, and chemical safety procedures
• Ability to safely handle, apply, and store specialized cleaning solutions and solvents according to SDS guidelines
• Strong multi-tasking skills with a focus on speed, thoroughness, and quality
• Ability to follow clear oral and written instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
• Comfort working in an active manufacturing environment—including standing for long periods, lifting up to 35 lbs, bending, and handling dirty/tight spaces

Disclosure Statement:

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $15.00 to $17.34 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
