Customer Relations Associate 1

Entry-level- Allows employees to develop foundational skills and become familiar with United Radio’s products and services

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Answer customer inquiries received through any channel and utilize developed Customer Service skills; Professionalism, Communication, Active Listening, Positive Attitude and Problem Solving to assist customers efficiently and effectively as well as act as a liaison between technical departments and customers. Process Orders and reply to all customer inquiries on a basic level following the guidelines for program assignments

Education and/or experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience. Or experience in customer service or call center preferred.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Basic understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Prioritize duties and responsibilities appropriately. 
  • Secondary language preferred
  • Understand and utilize phone system software to monitor phone coverage and personnel availability.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and standards while remaining adaptable and open to change.
  • Contribute to a positive, productive work environment.
