As a test operations engineer, you will work within the test readiness and feature validation area of our ADAS lab. You will provide vehicle and instrumentation readiness services, ensuring the vehicle system can be validated and calibrated to achieve ADAS feature requirements and performance. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of vehicle system and feature engineers covering early prototype builds through the vehicle launch on all product programs. You will ensure test readiness, meaning vehicles and ADAS features are functional, and all data acquisition systems are ready for test. You will frequently update ADAS ECU and component software and configurations with the opportunity to develop software tools that expedite the process with quality.

You will also diagnose and triage issues affecting prototype and development vehicles, consulting with different engineering teams to achieve resolution. Other tasks include providing diagnostic support to dealer, media, plant and customer fleets. You will have the opportunity to teach and train other team members in diagnostics and equipment usage by sharing knowledge and technical procedures. There are also opportunities to develop new methods and procedures for our ADAS test operations team as the digital system evolves to the next generation of technology.

We are looking for a team player and a leader. You will be instrumental in delivering ADAS to our vehicle programs, with quality, in all feature areas. You will not only learn but have hands-on opportunities to experience all the ADAS features, participating in the validation of all Ford vehicle programs.
