The Summer Discovery Program Teacher (contract position) shall provide in‑person English Language Arts and Mathematics instruction to assigned student cohorts as part of the Discovery Michigan Program. Full day presence is required with instruction delivered for an average of three (3) hours per day per cohort, with multiple cohorts each day, in accordance with the approved program schedule, curriculum requirements, and student‑to‑teacher ratio limits.Â
The Summer Discovery Program Teacher is responsible for instructional delivery, student supervision, classroom management, required assessments, attendance tracking, reporting, and family communication, and shall participate in all mandatory trainings and meetings as required by the Organization and applicable grant guidelines.
