What you'll do...

  • Responsible for validating vehicle software and integrated systems to ensure they meet functional, quality, performance, and customer requirements throughout the product development lifecycle. 

  • Working in a collaborative Agile environment, this role supports the planning, preparation, execution, analysis, and documentation of testing activities for embedded vehicle features and software releases. 

  • Responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify issues, adapting to evolving technologies while using problem solving to drive closure to open items to ensure milestone deliverables are met. 

  • Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to identify, investigate, and validate software and system issues, contributing to the delivery of reliable, high-quality vehicle functionality. 

  • Support both manual and automated validation efforts, promotes continuous improvement of test processes and tools, and ensures test environments are maintained to support efficient and effective software verification. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and development priorities while contributing to the successful delivery of vehicle software and system capabilities.

  • Identify software failures, assist in prioritizing them for subsequent fixing, and communicating them to cross functional teams.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science 

  • 3+ years of automotive testing, validation, or systems engineering experience.
  • Experience performing in-vehicle testing.
  • Experience validating embedded software systems and vehicle features.
  • Experience working in Agile product development environments.
  • Vehicle Validation: Vehicle-level testing including user acceptance testing, defect management, root cause analysis, embedded system validation, vehicle network fundamentals, software update validation, and requirement traceability
  • Tools: Jira, Jama, Testrail, CANalyzer

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8 and ranges from $74,300-$130,000. 

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
