Job Summary
We are seeking a Truck/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team! As a mechanic, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repairs of various pieces of equipment. This includes roll off trucks and trailers, Gravel trains, material handlers, loaders, mobile shears and forklifts. You will also perform and record regular maintenance for your equipment, services and work orders that are completed on the equipment. You will be expected to diagnose and repair the equipment, including electrical, hydraulic and engine repairs. The ideal candidate has a background in repairing newer and older equipment, as well as working safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities 
  • Making sure the fleet of equipment is up and running.
  • Basic maintenance (changing hydraulic hoses), as well as major repairs.
  • Performing and tracking services on all equipment.
  • Work closely with the rest of the team on each project to ensure success
Qualifications
  • Electrical, hydraulic and welding experience
  • Previous heavy equipment mechanic experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work well within a team environment
