Activity Aide Full Time Day Shift

Are you a motivated individual looking to work with people on an individual and group basis? Then we are looking for you to join our team as a full-time, Activity Aide! Must have experience in healthcare! 

Decatur Manor is a 24/7 residential Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility servicing people with primary diagnosis of mental illness.  The role of the Activity Aide is provide activities to engage the consumers and encourage them to interact with others in the community in fun and stimulating ways.  

This is a Full Time position.  Hours will be 11a-7p. Every other weekend required. 

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, and implement activities in the facility as well as community outings with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, facility established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Director of Activities. MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER, HAVE A DRIVER'S LICENSE AND GOOD DRIVING RECORD REQUIRED! If this sounds like you, please apply at the link below.

Starting hourly rate is $15/hour with benefits.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license and are authorized to work in the United States.

Must have high school diploma/GED AND are 21 years or older.

Must have worked in healthcare previously, preferably as an Activity Aide.

Must be deemed eligible for hire by IDPH, and may require fingerprinting

Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine, repetitive job duties.

Be considerate, pleasant, and professional in performance of duties.
