SUMMARYĀ Ā
The Account Executive (AE) will provide professional, courteous account management and brokerage services to assigned clients, havingĀ the primaryĀ responsibility for account retention. Working alongside Producers (aka āClient Executives / Salesā) as assigned, the AE shall be principally responsible for overseeing management of assigned accounts, including redundant interface with appropriate decision makers, proactive consultation, insurance program design, carrier interface/marketing, coordination of risk control resources, relevant collaboration with colleagues throughout HUB, and negotiation of coverage terms and conditions.Ā Ā

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESĀ
Working alongside and cooperatively with Producers, if assigned on accounts,Ā serveĀ as the HUBās primary consultant to the client.Ā Ā The Producer hasĀ primaryĀ responsibility for client relationship management andĀ initiatingĀ new sales.Ā Ā The AE has primary responsibility forĀ retainingĀ the account, acting as the de facto technical expert and broker-consultant.Ā Ā (In someĀ instancesĀ no Producer will beĀ assignedĀ and the AE also is primarily responsible for client relationship management.)Ā
Ensure Producers, when assigned, are fully informed about and prepared for all client meetings and interfacesĀ so as toĀ be able to competently and proactively manage the client relationship.Ā Ā Ā
Establish andĀ maintainĀ strong and productive professional relationships with āC-Levelā and otherĀ cognizantĀ decision makers for assigned HUB clients.Ā Ā
Possess a detailed knowledge of the clientās business and industry, being able to articulate applicable exposures to loss, insuranceĀ coverages, and appropriate/available risk management/control solutions.Ā
Establish andĀ maintainĀ strong and productive professional relationships withĀ cognizantĀ insurance carrier marketing, underwriting, and risk control staff, including a detailed familiarity with each carrierās products and services in support of assigned clients.Ā
Directly oversee and coordinate the delivery of all HUB services to assigned clients throughout the policy cycle, including stewardship reports, delivery of risk control services, carrier meetings, claims reviews, preparation of coverage outlines, and marketing of emergent and renewal coverage requests.Ā
Ensure that all client service needs are promptly and professionally delivered,Ā either directlyĀ by the AE. The AE is accountable for the competence, timeliness, and quality of all deliverables to the client.Ā
Conduct annual review w/clients making coverage and loss control recommendations focused on reducing theĀ clientsĀ total cost of risk.Ā Ā
ManageĀ HUBĀ Top 200 process.Ā
IdentifyĀ opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell of other HUB products and services whenĀ appropriate forĀ theĀ clientsĀ needs,Ā initiatingĀ same.Ā Ā At all times, be knowledgeable about and document what other insurance products and services the clients are purchasing through other providers and who those providers are.Ā
Work with the Producer, if assigned, or be primarily responsible forĀ maintainingĀ current receivable status for assigned clients.Ā Ā Proactive efforts to collectĀ receivablesĀ more thanĀ 30 daysĀ past-dueĀ should be undertaken, with each unresolved circumstance documented and reported to accounting.Ā
Possess a mastery of the various HUB resources and tools that are available via āHUB Today,ā employing same to best serve assigned clients and work withĀ cognizantĀ Producers.Ā
Be knowledgeable about andĀ comply withĀ HUB systems,Ā proceduresĀ and state/federal insurance regulations.Ā
Possess a strong ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, which will include the ability to design and deliver effective group presentations using various media.Ā Ā This may range from conducting internal training to a sales or renewal presentation at a clientās office.Ā
Be actively involved with professional and/or civic associations on behalf of HUB.Ā

QUALIFICATIONSĀ
Life, Accident and Health Insurance LicenseĀ requiredĀ Ā
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, and relevant professional experience thatĀ demonstratesĀ the knowledge, skills, and abilitiesĀ requiredĀ for success in the role.Ā Ā
3-5 years of years of related experience working as an Account Manager or AccountĀ Ā
Experience with influencing C-level executivesĀ
Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsĀ Ā
ProficiencyĀ with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ā
High energy, detail-oriented self-starterĀ Ā
Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skillsĀ Ā
Significant skill in handling competing demands and projectsĀ Ā
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and delegate responsibilityĀ Ā
Willingness to travelĀ Ā
