Industrial Machinist

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Industrial Machinist for projects located in or around Decatur, AL. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $29/hour based on experience and skill level.   If you are a Machinist and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:         

• Set up and operate manual machine shop equipment including engine lathes, mills, and drill presses
• Manufacture and fabricate parts to precise specifications
• Perform maintenance, repair, and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools, and equipment
• Complete skilled precision and bench work

Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of relevant manual machining experience
• Must have experience operating lathes, mills, and drill presses in an industrial setting
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 80 lbs. on a regular basis
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Trade school education or applicable machining training is preferred
