A Smile 4U is currently seeking a qualified, energetic, upbeat, and compassionate Office Manager who wants to make a difference in the lives of their patients. We are the state-of-the-art facility. We have exciting opportunities in our Decatur, GA location.
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, administrative functions, and staff coordination of the practice, including but not limited to the following:
- Manage daily operations for General Dentistry, IV Sedation, and Oral Surgery departments, including coordination of doctors and staff Foster positive communication and collaboration between doctors and team members
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations for office staff
- Ensure compliance with company policies, protocols, and operational procedures
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of daily operations
- Oversee patient relations and patient satisfaction, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly
- Ensure the professional appearance and organization of the clinic, including the front office, lobby, breakroom, and clinical areas
- Promote a welcoming, efficient, and patient-focused office environment
- Oversee clinic scheduling and workflow to help achieve daily and monthly production goals
- Monitor appointment flow, cancellations, and recall management to maintain a productive and efficient schedule
- Oversee and ensure accurate insurance verification for all patients prior to appointments
- Ensure correct entry of insurance information and benefit details in patient accounts
- Monitor and enforce accurate insurance billing, including PPO and Medicaid plans
- Review insurance claims for accuracy and completeness before submission
- Work with the billing team to resolve claim denials, insurance discrepancies, and patient account issues
- Ensure compliance with insurance policies, billing procedures, and documentation requirements
- Assist with purchasing and managing supplies for all specialties and front office operations
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure the office maintains adequate supplies and operational readiness
- Serve as a liaison between the clinic and corporate leadership, ensuring company directives and initiatives are implemented effectively
Qualifications:Â
Â
- Dental office management or supervisory experience required
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification, insurance billing, PPO plans, and Medicaid processes
- Experience with practice management software and scheduling systems
- Ability to oversee insurance claim accuracy and resolve insurance-related issues
- Proven experience managing front office and administrative dental operations
- Dental industry experience required
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
