Job DetailsJob Location: Decaturville Office - Decaturville, TN 38329Summary:  Provide school based education group and individual sessions with students in grades K – 3 at schools participating in the Project BASIC program.       Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:    •    Assist in organizing, planning, and implementing the Project BASIC program.  •    Locate, select, and develop resources needed for the Project BASIC program.  •    Coordinate the Project BASIC program with school principals.  •    Schedule and conduct classroom instruction with grades K – 3.  •    As appropriate, provide individual and/or group counseling for students, teachers, and parent support counseling.  •    In coordination with school administration, develop a system for referring students to appropriate community agencies.  •    Collect and maintain data and information that can be used in reports and program evaluations.  •    Attend conferences, seminars, and other training sessions deemed appropriate by the Project BASIC Coordinator and/or the Executive Director.  •    Other duties may be assigned.    Supervisory Responsibilities:  None.  Physical Demands:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.    Mathematical Skills:  Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.  Applying fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.    Reasoning Ability:  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  None required.
