Job Description:

What you will do:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Follow all Shields Health Care Group policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Follow rules and regulations established by the NRC, state regulatory agencies, and JCAHO.聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Operate PET equipment to produce images and measure concentrations of Radioactive Isotopes in specific body areas and body products.聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs all hot lab responsibilities.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Accurately position the patient and ensure their comfort.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Complete all forms pertaining to patient鈥檚 exam.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide and issue films when appropriate.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Forward PET related data to Radiologist upon completion of exam.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Refilm cases as time allows

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.

Required Qualifications

What you need:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must possess a state license for the state(s) in which he/she is employed to work

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be certified in CPR

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be registered by the ARRT and/or NMTCB.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 A minimum of one-year prior nuclear medicine experience is required.聽 Excellent interpersonal skills are required.聽 Must be proficient in starting IVs.聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be able to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time. Must be able to assist patients with mobility difficulties. Must be able to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.
