Summary/Objective:Â
The Human Resources Manager is a hands-on, highly collaborative and analytical data-driven Human Resources professional who will support the business through overseeing employee relations to ensure a positive, productive, and compliant work environment. The Human Resources Manager will exhibit excellent influence, negotiation and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, and the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. This role serves as a primary point of contact for conflict resolution, partnering with operations on employee relations matters, workplace investigations, policy interpretation, and guidance on both employees and management in alignment with USA DeBusks’ values and culture.

Key Responsibilities:
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives.
- Provide coaching and training to managers and HR on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, corrective actions, separations, and performance accountability issues.
- Lead and influence employees across the organization, either directly or indirectly.
- Monitor turnover reasons to proactively identify issues and make recommendations as appropriate.
- Lead or support internal investigations related to misconduct, harassment, and policy violations.
- Reinforces company culture by taking a proactive approach to supporting and promoting the company values and culture.
- Analyze employee relations trends and provide recommendations to minimize legal risk and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Draft and review documentation including written warnings, investigation summaries, and separation notices.
- Assist in response to legal claims, audits, or compliance matters as needed.
- Coordinate with other HR teams (compliance, training, benefits, payroll) as appropriate.
- Partner with the business unit and Talent Acquisition to obtain skilled talent.
- Maintain detailed, compliant and confidential records of all employee relations activity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support workforce planning and organizational development.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge or legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR management experience, with a strong focus on employee relations in blue-collar industries and companies, such as industrial, oilfield, construction, etc., required.
- Experience and expertise in conducting investigations and managing high-risk personnel issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage high workloads with tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document complex cases clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage technology (Microsoft Office Suite, advanced skills in Excel) including HRIS systems (ADP workforce (WFN) preferably) and AI.
- Experience and expertise in supporting multi-state operations.
- Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws (e.g., Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, etc.)
- Strong influence, interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with employees at all levels.
- Must be able to shift between strategic planning and hands-on execution at-will and as-needed. We need do-ers, not bosses!

- SHRM-SCP or HRCI SPHR certification.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be willing and physically capable of travelling up to 40 % as required.
- Must be capable of regularly speaking and hearing while utilizing hands to control or manipulate objects.
- Must be capable of seeing close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be willing and capable of sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, or reaching above the shoulders.Â
- Must be willing and physically capable of lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Must be willing and capable in performing computer-based tasks while sitting or standing at a computer-based workstation for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to make general decisions requiring judgement and perform activities requiring sustained concentration.
