Pye-Barker is seeking an Outside Sales Representative responsible for selling our fire protection and life safety solutions across new construction and retrofit projects. This role focuses on generating new business through prospecting and cold outreach, presenting and demonstrating products and services, and collaborating closely with the service department to ensure a strong customer experience. The Outside Sales Representative will increase revenue by developing new client relationships, maintaining existing accounts, identifying prospective customers, following up on sales leads, and recommending targeted marketing strategies.The role includes full benefits, a gas card with allowance, a company cellphone and laptop, and our All-In Partnership program.
Salary: Depending On Experience (Base Salary + Commission)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 
Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Education/Qualification: 
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR
2 years of related experience required.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Performs other duties as assigned.
